To Love or Not to Love – That is the Question
There are plenty of reasons to love celebrities. However, throughout the year, they also receive their fair share of criticism. Being in the spotlight is like a double-edged sword. You can conquer it all and be well-known all throughout the world. But at the same time, you should also be willing to take the criticism that comes with it (albeit, some of it is pretty harsh and undeserved). However, there seems to lie a special road which not many celebrities are able to traverse. And that road’s signpost reads – ‘No Hate’. Yep. You heard that absolutely right! Today, at Zippy Opinion, one of the best-paid survey sites in the world, let’s take a look at the road where barely a handful of celebrities are able to set foot and walk flawlessly. Let’s talk about international celebrities people love and have ZERO hate for. (Disclaimer – This list is in no particular order)
#1 Keanu Reeves
Keanu Reeves has to be one of the nicest people around, let alone a celebrity! How could he not be loved?! He seems to have defied aging and looks more like a 30-year-old despite actually being 56 years old. Known for his performances in The Matrix, Speed, John Wick, Constantine, etc., ‘Baba Yaga’ has established himself as one of the finer actors in Hollywood. However, his humility and kindness are traits that have really ushered every single person into simply not being able to hate him. He takes BIG pay cuts to finance the background effects staff, he uses public transport, and he even cares for the needy. But most of all, he’s quite simply the nicest dude in town! All this and more makes him super likable and one of the most benevolent celebs out there!
#2 Beyoncé
The Queen B has been making consistently great music for over two decades now. The former Destiny’s Child singer has vocal cords we would all be envious of! With the success of amazing songs like ‘Crazy in Love’, ‘If I Were a Boy’, ‘Halo’, ‘Put a Ring on It’, and numerous more, this queen is everything we aspire to be and everything we love. She has contributed to numerous charities over the years, but her greatest charitable contribution has to be to the Survivor Foundation. Beyoncé and her former Destiny’s Child bandmate, Kelly Rowland, established the foundation with the aim to help victims of Hurricane Katrina.
#3 Steve Irwin
The Australian ‘Crocodile Hunter’ ticked all the boxes when it came to loving animals and wildlife of all kinds. He was devoted to his work and showed us all the wonderful and sometimes terrifying side of animals and other wildlife. Sadly, we heard the last of his ‘Crickies’ when he passed away after being stung by a stingray with ‘hundreds of strikes’ in seconds back in 2006. It feels like only yesterday that this wildlife-loving soul was introducing us to more and more species of animals and wildlife over the television. This man was loved and adored by all his fans, without any hate.
#4 Chadwick Boseman
WAKANDA FOREVER! These words echoed through audiences while we sat in movie theaters watching Black Panther. Chadwick Boseman played a crucial role in making the role of King T’Challa his own. Fans all over the globe took pictures with the iconic ‘Wakanda Forever’ stance. This actor passed away in August 2020, but he will forever be in our minds and hearts through all the great work he put into his movies.
#5 Ryan Reynolds
So who’s the real Ryan Reynolds? If you’re only listening to the way they both talk, you couldn’t tell him apart from his Deadpool character (minus the guns, need for violence, and regenerative ability). Ryan Reynolds does seem to have an audience that simply doesn’t hate him. He’s played a series of characters in loads of Hollywood movies. However, what sets him apart is his real-life persona that is quirky, fun, and full of giggles. Reynolds has captured the hearts of many with his dashing good looks. But that’s only the tip of the iceberg. There are so many more layers to him. He feels like everyone’s best friend. He is involved in roasting any person he loves and cares for. His close friend Hugh Jackman and his partner Blake Lively egg him on whilst roasting each other on social media. We all know it’s good banter and we love it!
Fame isn’t for everyone
Being famous can be exhausting. You either stay grounded or just be yourself positively as you’re always in the public eye. You’re constantly being scrutinized by the public and the media. Some sections of the paparazzi try to catch you at your worst. It can get too hectic. But all the fame has its good sides too. It all depends on if you’re able to handle it and find a balance between the positives and negatives, like the celebs on this list have.
